Ryan Cole is an associate attorney at the Tampa office of Groelle & Salmon, P.A., practicing primarily in the areas of first party property liability defense. Prior to joining Groelle & Salmon, Mr. Cole was general counsel at a local homeowners’ insurance company giving legal advice on insurance related issues of liability and coverage. Mr. Cole also served indigent Hillsborough County residents as an Assistant Public Defender for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. During his years at the Public Defender’s office, Mr. Cole gained invaluable experience litigating thousands of cases in county and circuit courts from beginning to end. He litigated eight jury trials and argued hundreds of motions.

Mr. Cole was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. He attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science & Law. He graduated from Barry University School of Law in May 2013. During Law school, Mr. Cole was president of the Public Interest Law Society. Mr. Cole also volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of Central Florida helping indigent pro se litigants prepare and file suits in consumer law matters.

Mr. Cole is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
